I stumbled on Kathy Lien's first book in the library about 6 weeks ago (I was looking for something else at the time). I read the book, opened a small forex account and quadrupled my account in two weeks, just following what was in the book. So I Google Kathy Lien and that's how I found this service. I've been using it for about 4 weeks, I traded on 6 of their alerts, I MADE MONEY ON ALL 6 OF THEM! On three I made a profit on the first half and broke even on the second, but that's still a profit.
I've been trading listed equities for several years, so I do have experience trading, but I never traded Fx before. If they had told me beforehand that they were that good I would never have believed them! An absolutely incredible performance.

I've been with BKT for over a year now and first found out about their service when I was using FXCM as my broker. Boris and Kathy are now with GFT but their service has remained as good if not better.

First, above all, their insight and commentary on the market is worth the subscription price itself. They post a spreadsheet weekly that covers all the major fundamentals for the week as well as suggested trades. As a novice trader, this is a great way to learn what is and is not important and why if affects currencies. If you are unsure, just subscribe for one month and learn from their commentaries. Kathy also does a weekly screen cast that covers the major pairs.

Now, of course, this is all about making money too. So their calls (as of this writing in Nov 2008) is really good. Most of the trades average about +30 -> +50 pips and they make about 2-3 trades per week. If you trade mini lots, then this is $1/pip. You can of course choose your own lots. I use a mini account and place two trades with each trade worth 5 lots ($5/pip).

BKT's strategy is (as explained by others here) to place two trades. Both have the same stop (usually -60 pips) but one has a take-profit at 30 pips. The other trade is set to take profit at usually +100 pips or more. Once the trade is live, and the first target is hit, they move the stop on the second to break even which basically guarantees that that winning trade doesn't become a loss. This is VERY important...don't let your winners turn into losers. Especially on short trades which are what they primarily do.

I don't know what earlier comments about doubling profits and not losses are about. If a trade goes wrong, 2 trades at -60 pips each usually means -120 pips (which is reflected in their numbers). Winning trades are +30 on the first lot and +XX (anywhere from 0 if it stops out at break even) all the way up to the original target.

The comments about having to monitor 24x7 is basically true. Many trades do go overnight and I have received text alerts at 3 AM. Look, the FX market is 24x7..so sometimes you have to get up and move trailing stops. I use GFT for my broker because they have mobile access and I can move my stops as per the alerts anywhere.

Excellent Service that provides exactly what they promise. 2-3 good trade signals each week. No gimmicks. The once a month live trading is also very valuable. I have recommended their service to all of my forex friends.

Overall, BKT is a great service. Both Boris and Kathy are very visible people in the markets and news channels. They understand the markets and make signals recommendations with sound judgment. Of course, there will be times when they are wrong. But in the long run (as has been my experience), they have more winning trades. i really like using BK Forex Advisor

I have been a member for the last 8 months and will definitely be renewing my subscription.
Boris and Kathy give excellent trades and great education. i am able to learn from them and further my own abilities to become a better trader. It is worth checking them out. Just look at their past performance! i've joined BK for about 10 days. have got 3-4 signals, all of which were successful. the time is bit odd for me though, as their signals are sent out 4 pm EST, that's 5 am my time. the time is when volatility is lower, so those risk averse type may like it. they have two e-books when you join, and i found them quite helpful. looking forward to their once-a-month live trade though. if it's once a week, should be better.

The main criticism on this forum about BKTrader is that their trading signal results are “illusions” due to “double counting”. I strongly disagree. Using two open trades per trade-signal is a legitimate STRATEGY that not only works but is a pip generating machine. Please open a demo account and try using two open trades per signal before passing judgment on their strategy. My only two gripes with the site: They don’t articulate clearly that traders MUST make two open trades per signal to get the results as advertised; My other gripe... Borris was rude to me during live trading.

Well I'm new to forex and I've had 5 out of 5 good trades with BK. Their weekly calendar of news events including their bias is great. I've only been making the trades the specifically recommend and so far great. The additional info is invaluable for me to learn this. I'm already making money and the numbers they advertise are verified.
